A Systematic Review of Psychometric Properties of the Vocabulary Tests for Iranian Persian-Speaking Children: Current Status and Future Directions

Context: One aspect of spoken language skills is vocabulary, which provides a basis for acquiring other aspects. Assessing child's vocabulary knowledge aids in identifying the strengths and weaknesses predicts reading ability academic success. Speech-language pathologists frequently employ various procedures clinical research settings to assess children's help make decisions about diagnosis, eligibility services, intervention. Objectives: This systematic review investigated currently available tests developed or adapted Iranian Persian-speaking children. Data Sources: Based on PRISMA guideline, electronic searches three national (SID, Irandoc, Magiran) four international (ScienceDirect, ProQuest, PubMed, Google scholar) databases were carried out from 2000 2022 identify Persian assessment tools. Study Selection: Search reference lists papers, unpublished theses, content related journals also supplemented database searches.
