A Systematic Review of Psychometric Properties of the Vocabulary Tests for Iranian Persian-Speaking Children: Current Status and Future Directions

Context: One aspect of spoken language skills is vocabulary, which provides a basis for acquiring other aspects. Assessing child's vocabulary knowledge aids in identifying the strengths and weaknesses predicts reading ability academic success. Speech-language pathologists frequently employ various procedures clinical research settings to assess children's help make decisions about diagnosis, eligibility services, intervention. Objectives: This systematic review investigated currently available tests developed or adapted Iranian Persian-speaking children. Data Sources: Based on PRISMA guideline, electronic searches three national (SID, Irandoc, Magiran) four international (ScienceDirect, ProQuest, PubMed, Google scholar) databases were carried out from 2000 2022 identify Persian assessment tools.
